Maria Montessori proposed a prepared environment where children ages 2 years and 6 could interact sharing a space specially prepared for them.

The Montessori materials are available on shelves at the height of children and prepared ready for use. During class time the children work individually with the teacher lessons and group activities, playing the four main areas of the Montessori curriculum, as well as other cultural areas.

During the morning, Montessori School of Las Palmas, also enjoy play time in the yard, snack, readings and songs. The socio-emotional development is very important and occurs naturally when children regulate their own learning, build their self-esteem and reinforce individuality.

At Montessori School of Las Palmas, from the age of six, children work daily in reading, writing, Math and Grammar.

Following the approach of Cosmic Education developed by Maria Montessori, children explore the cultural areas of Science, Music, Zoology, Botany, Geography, History, Art and foreign languages, through individual presentations, the use of Montessori materials and group projects.

At these ages, Montessori education fosters the development of cooperation among peers, respect and problem solving tasks that will be key to adulthood. The social revolution is achieved Montessori talking laying the foundation for a peaceful, respectful and committed community, which is what humanity should be.
